| A rancher’s field in the Powder River Basin is irrigated successfully through managed irrigation. Managed irrigation has turned prairie-dog land into productive land by adding soil amendments to CBNG water. |
An in-channel pond in the PRB is one type of water management option. Ponds have been useful to hundreds of rancher’s in the Powder River Basin because they provide an abundant source of water to both wildlife and livestock. |

| A pronghorn makes its way through tall grass by a CBNG well. CBNG fields are home to wildlife and livestock because development co-exists with agricultural and wildlife operations. |
A tan CBNG well is in the forefront of a house and red barn in the Powder River Basin. CBNG wells are much smaller than traditional wells. Wells are carefully drilled and placed to blend with the natural environment as much as possible. A typical CBNG well lasts approximately 10-15 years. |
