New Coalbed Natural Gas
Alliance Web Site Informational sections of the website include: examples of coalbed natural gas coexisting with ranching, farming and livestock; education about most aspects of coalbed natural gas (CBNG) including its geology, gas well construction, and a map of the developments progress; a section for landowners about development on their property; CBNG-produced water including regulations and management options; environmental regulations; the economics of coalbed natural gas; a section on the science of CBNG; a list of operators; and current news and information. The website was designed to offer a quick overview of the key aspects of CBNG development as well as a deeper, more detailed explanation including categories, downloadable reports and pertinent links. The website will be updated frequently to include any new information on CBNG development. Additional content will be added to the website on an on-going basis. The informational brochure, Coalbed Natural Gas Development from Start to Finish, was created by the Alliance to give landowners and other interested parties a descriptive explanation of what to expect when CBNG development is possible on their land. With both step-by-step text and illustrative photography detailing what each phase of development will look like, the brochure clearly explains the entire process. The brochure will be available free of charge by request via the website, www.cbnga.com and the toll-free CBNG Alliance number, 888-601-4400. The Alliances mission is to inform, educate and communicate accurate information about coalbed natural gas development within the Powder River CBNG play in Montana and Wyoming. The Alliance provides examples which show CBNG development naturally coexists with the environment it inhabits, including farming, ranching and wildlife habitat.
